New Love(s)

Despite the November chill, there's always those last couple of random, warm days that surprise us all - but the Indian Summer isn't the only thing pleasing these past couple of days. The School storm has calmed just a bit (post-midterm season is quite lovely), the weather is brisk but not uncomfortably freezing yet, and life is just overall good. To celebrate, I whipped out a few new pieces I've been dying to share with you :)! Behold, my first ever purchase from ASOS ! I snagged these pants and shoes during their 70% off sale (brilliant!) and never looked back. I've been craving a pair of high-waisted black trousers for quite some time now, and was pleasantly surprised when I spotted the perfect ones. I've looked endlessly but they've all seemed to come with their flaws - either not high-waisted enough, not cropped enough, not fitted enough etc etc...but these met all my expectations and more. Oh, and the shoes speak for themselves I think...about time I got a pair of ankle-strapped heels! Paired off with a polka-heart top, bowler hat, leather jacket, and little bunny bag, and ta-da, I'm obviously enjoying myself :P :).*happy dance*

New Friends
This darling fella followed me all the way to class the other day. Despite most people's strong dislike for squirrels in the city I find them rather charming. They're super cute, trusting, and they're really fun to feed! (yes, I feed the squirrels sometimes...) I had fun snapping away and I would have had a lot more photos...but he didn't like staying in one place for too long. Oh, the troubles of manual focus.

Toronto is exceptionally lovely this time of year so I'll try to get a few more photos of the gorgeous colors and Ivy before the winter winds carry them away. With the end of Halloween, the city begins getting ready for the holiday season, and I can't wait to dive head first into it all! Expect a lot of (ugly) winter sweaters and tights I find cute from now on ;). The weather's only getting colder from here so I'm off to huddle up in my cozy bed with some cocoa and maybe a chick-flick. It's been a while since I've seen one. Or better yet, I'll re-watch Gossip Girl....Cheers! xx
